RJ11 VS RJ45

                            RJ11 vs RJ45

RJ11

The registered jack 11 (RJ11) is a type of connector commonly used for telephone cables. It has four or six pins and is used to connect phones, modems, and other telecommunication devices to a wall jack or other phone line.

IN WHICH FIELD RJ11 IS IMPORTANT

Cords connecting to an RJ11 interface require a 6P2C connector. Nevertheless, cords sold as RJ11 often use 6P4C connectors (six position, four conductor) with four wires. Two of the six possible contact positions connect tip and ring, and the other two conductors are unused. RJ11 is the most widely -used registered jack in telecommunications.

RJ45

The eight-pin RJ45 connector is a standardised interface which often connects a computer to a Local Area Network (LAN). This type of connector was originally developed for telephone communications but is now used in a range of applications. The abbreviation, RJ45, stands for Registered jack-45.

IN WHICH FIELD RJ45 IS IMPORTANT

Field RJ45 connectors are mainly used in applications where the wiring system will be exposed to dust, vibrations, water, or mechanical stress. The basically a connector and allows for the network between each other to stay strongRJ45 connectors are modular interconnection devices paired with a cable that deliver data communication to various electronic systems.
