INTERNET IN THINGS

                                             INTERNET OF THINGS

The Internet of things (IoT) describes the network of physical objects things that are embedded with sensors software and other technologies for the purpose of connecting and exchanging data with other devices and systems over the internet. The field has evolved due to the convergence of multiple technologies  including ubiquitous computing, commodity sensors, and increasingly powerful embedded systems, as well as machine learning.

Social IoT Examples

                      1.    INTERNET OF THINGS -based smart home technology monitors health data of patients or adults by analyse  their physiological parameters and prompt the nearby health facilities when emergency medical services needed .I N case emergency, automatically, ambulance of a nearest available hospital will be called with pickup location provided, ward assigned, patient's health data will be transmitted to the emergency department, and display on the doctor's computer immediately for further action.

2.    INTERNET OF THINGS  sensors on the vehicles, road and traffic lights monitor the conditions of the vehicles and drivers and alert when attention needed and also coordinate themselves automatically to ensure autonomous driving is working normally. Unfortunately if an accident happens, (IoT )camera will inform the nearest hospital and police station for help.

          EXAMPLES OF (IoT)

        1. SMART HOME
        2. SMART  CITY
        3. GOOGLE HOME
        4.  ROBOTS
        5. HEALTH CARE

USE OF (IoT) IN OUR DAILY LIFE

THE USES OF IOT IN OUR DAILY LIFE ARE:
  • Smart appliances (stoves, refrigerators, washers and dryers, coffee machines, slow cookers)
  • Smart security systems, smart locks, and smart doorbells
  • Smart home hubs (that control lighting, home heating and cooling, etc.)
  • Smart assistants (like Amazon Alexa or Apple’s Siri)
  • Fitness trackers, sleep trackers, and smart scales
